Connect Groups
At The Jefferson Church, Connect Groups create a safe space for people to intentionally share their lives with others, grow spiritually together, and encourage each other through the highs and lows of life. Connect Groups gather in homes, coffee shops, restaurants, and other places where people love to connect in our community. At its core, a Connect Group is less about what you do and more about who you do it with. We all need each other, and that’s why we have Connect Groups. No matter where you are in your walk with Christ or what your interests or hobbies are, there’s a Connect Group that's perfect for you!

At The Jefferson Church, most of our Connect Groups meet in seasons. Currently, we have two seasons— our Spring season kicks off at the end of January and concludes at the beginning of May, and our Fall season kicks off at the end of August and concludes at the end of November. A few of our Connect Groups, however, have no end date and continue meeting throughout the year. You can check each Group’s description for specific information pertaining to the Group you’re interested in being a part of!
Yes! However, we encourage you to commit and plant yourself for the entire season and give 100% to the Group(s) you sign-up for.
- All Connect Groups that meet on campus on Sunday mornings and Wednesday nights have ministry geared for children and youth. If you’re not sure if children are invited to come, contact the group leader and they’d be happy to answer that for you.
Connect Groups gather in homes, coffee shops, restaurants, parks, and other places where people naturally connect in our community.
Our heart is that everyone would go through our Freedom Group; if you have not already attended Freedom, we encourage you to join! You can find our Freedom Group on our Connect Group page under the Next Steps category.

I’m interested in leading a Connect Group? Where do I start?
You don’t need to have it all together to lead a Connect Group— you just have to be willing to let God use you. If you’re a first-time leader, join us for Connect Group Leader Training. We believe God uses Connect Groups to change people’s lives, and as a leader, you get to be a part of that.

- Step 1 – At TJC, we want you to join a Connect Group first. It’s important that all Connect Group Leaders be a part of a Connect Group before leading one. We want you to understand our heart behind Groups and give you an opportunity to connect with others first.
- Step 2 – Attend both sessions of Growth Track. Growth Track is held on the first and second Sunday of each month at 11am in our Growth Track Room.
- Step 3 – Reach out to Pastor Josh, our Connect Group Pastor. His email is josh@jefferson.church
